NAGPUR, July 2017: Athletes and runners from all over India are gearing up for the second edition of 0 Mile Marathon to be organised in the city on Sunday, 5th November 2017. 0 Mile Marathon in 2016 saw participants from as far as Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. The youngest runner was 8 years of age, and the eldest participant was 75. We also saw participation from International athletes making it a Global event. Here we have the story of this young lad from Nagpur – Ashok Munne, rightly known as the One Legged Wonder of India. Ashok lost his right leg in a train accident in 2009 and was left bedridden for over a year due to an operation that went wrong. In 2012, he got his prosthetic leg planted in Pune from where began his journey of becoming a Hero.
